I’m Edgar Tapia. I create brand identities and marketing materials for print, digital, retail and events. My experience combines hands-on design with creative team leadership, project coordination and production management.
At Tempur Sealy Canada, I led the graphics team while designing marketing materials across its brands. At Retail Council of Canada, I developed event identities, publications and campaigns, and coordinated freelance designers and print suppliers. Through Xerox Business Services, I supported corporate clients including Pfizer, Eli Lilly and Staples Canada.
I bring that experience to each project: understanding the brief, developing the design, coordinating people and suppliers, and preparing the work for delivery.
I’m open to opportunities in senior graphic design, branding, creative production, creative project management and studio management. Through Tapia Studio, I also work with businesses on branding, websites and marketing materials.
I clarify the audience, objectives, deliverables, budget and timeline so the project starts with a clear direction.
I explore ideas that fit the brief and the brand, then refine the direction through discussion and feedback.
I adapt the approved design across the required formats, keeping layouts, imagery and messaging consistent.
I check content, typography, colour and file specifications, and coordinate with suppliers to prepare the work for production or launch.
